It had been a while since we last saw snow (at least more than a dusting), as we had been chasing the sun for most of the last year. So a chance to see family and spend time in the snow in Park City sounded like just the ticket!

We drove from Seattle with Lindsey and Jon, with a stop in Boise to see Charlie and Audrey, before arriving in Salt Lake City to see Travis, Nikki and all the kids. Courtney was able to come from Alabama to spend some time with all of us as well, so the gang was all there!

We stayed at a great place in Park City, and spent our time in the cold on the slopes and snowshoeing.

Christmas was great, with our oldest granddaughter Josie getting engaged to her long-time boyfriend Taylor, beginning a cycle of stress for Travis that will last through most of the summer! Kidding, of course - Travis will take this all in stride - he’s probably already working on his moves for the father-daughter dance!

Great time with family, and always fun to see all of our wonderful grandkids!

Now it’s time to hit the road again. We’ll ease into it a little this year. We have timeshare points to use, and we’ll use most of them in the next five weeks in Hawaii!
