Elephants come from behind

We had watched this family cross the road earlier, and we had just enjoyed a bush breakfast above the river where we thought we’d have a great view as they crossed the river. But where would they come out of the forest? Duncan says “usually up there”, not from behind us. Of course they came up behind us! This family had a couple guys with crossed tusks - must be a genetic thing.
